Since forming in 2006, the Dinosaur Truckers have toured extensively all over Europe and lately the US, gaining the reputation of a “can’t miss” live band, creating a steamy atmosphere and leaving the audience dripping with sweat begging for more at their shows.
Whether they play at a break neck speed or temporarily slow it down for the occasional somber ballad, you won’t find them singing about sweet country sunshine. Instead they offer their fans pure, uncut, unadulterated music – potent and dangerous and not for the faint of heart.
Although rooted deep in American music, the Dinosaur Truckers certainly aren’t just another folk act. This four piece band merges a wide range of styles, ranging from fast-paced bluegrass to country, punk, rockabilly with a dose of mariachi thrown in at times. They display a tremendous breadth of sound and influences and consistently deliver with an unparalleled energy.
